Kim Dong-min shot a 5-under 67 with one eagle, five birdies and two bogeys in the final four rounds of the 2023 KPGA Korean Tour’s KB Financial Reeve Championship ($700 million in prize money) at Blackstone Golf Club (Par 72, 7270 yards) in Icheon-si, Gyeonggi-do on Monday.
He won with a final total of 8-under-par 280. It was her first win in 66 tournaments since making her debut in 2020. She is the fifth player to win for the first time this season. He also ranked first in Genesis points (2,351.80) and second in Genesis prize money 안전놀이터 (338 million won).
Kim told the KPGA, “I didn’t expect to win after three rounds, and I saw that there wasn’t much of a gap between me and the leader after the first hole. I played my best until the end, and I’m so happy that the win came. I was so nervous waiting for the win, and that nervousness made me happy.”
Lee Jung-hwan and Lee Seung-taek tied for second at 6-under 282, Bae Yong-joon and Shin Sang-hoon tied for fourth at 5-under 283, Kim Min-soo and Kim Min-gyu tied for sixth at 4-under 284, Jeon Ga-ram and Kim Min-joon tied for eighth at 3-under 285, and Hwang Jung-gon, Ham Jeong-woo, Lee Yi-seok, Lee Soo-min, Lee Jae-young, and Lee Tae-hoon (Canada) tied for 10th at 2-under 286.
