The Korean women’s handball team, coached by Henrik Sigel, has begun training for the Asian Games.

The team moved into the Jincheon Athletes’ Village on Nov. 18 to begin preparations for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games Asian Qualifiers and Hangzhou Asian Games. 메이저사이트 With a number of members from the Asian Championships on board, the team is looking to become more than just the best in Asia.

The Korean Handball Association (KHA) has hired Swedish coach Signell and two other coaches to help the women’s team improve their international performance. The team will get to know their new coaches during training camps at the Athletes’ Village until August 20. The team will then head to the Olympic Asian Qualifiers in Japan on August 17 and the Asian Games in September.

Twelve Asian Championship winners, including Park Sae-young (Samcheok City Hall), Osara (Gyeongnam Development Corporation) and Jeong Jin-hee (Seoul Metropolitan Government), will wear the flag. In addition, Park Jo-eun (GK, Gwangju City Corporation), who played in the 2022-2023 SK Handball Korea League, which ended on the 7th, and Kim Min-seo (CB, Samcheok City Hall), who won the Rookie of the Year and MVP honors, are among the 22 Taegeuk Warriors.
