NC Dinos ace Erik Peddie, 30, will look to earn his ninth win of the season and begin his quest for the Triple Crown.

Peddie will take the mound against the LG Twins at 5 p.m. on April 3 at Jamsil Stadium.

Pedi was scheduled to pitch against the Doosan Bears at NC Park in Changwon on April 1. However, the game was canceled due to rain and the start date was pushed back.

Pedi has a .208 batting average and seven quality starts. He also has good command of his pitches, walking just 16 batters (15 for strikes).

His best pitches are a two-seam fastball that sits over 150 mph and a sweeper that curves and sinks just outside the right-hander.

His two-seam fastball and sweeper have been recognized for their tremendous movement, which is beyond the standards of the KBO. His fastball has an average velocity of 148.2 kilometers per hour. His cut fastball and changeup are also competitive pitches.

After winning the opening game against the Samsung Lions on April 1, Pedi went 1-1 in the next three games.

Pedi will also attempt to win at least 10 games.

If Pedi wins two consecutive games, including the game against LG on March 3, he will tie the record for fewest wins (10 in 12 games).
